A hotel we found and had used before so just booked through TUI who knew nothing about the actual hotel but we did so that was ok

4.9/5 – Amazing honeymoon stay We chose Syntopia Hotel as our honeymoon destination, and overall we had an amazing stay. We would honestly rate the hotel 4.9/5. The staff were absolutely amazing throughout our stay. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and helpful, which really added to the experience. The atmosphere of the hotel is also fantastic, and the beauty and aesthetics of the whole place are genuinely impressive. It is a really beautiful hotel with a great overall feel. We stayed in the Jungle Suite with the hot tub, and it completely blew us away. The room was incredible and was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. We were so impressed with it and it made our honeymoon feel even more special. The food and drinks were generally very good, and the location of the hotel is also great. The rooftop bar was probably our favourite spot. The drinks were served really quickly, and the fact that it opens at 10:30am is perfect if you fancy a little longer in bed in the morning! There are only a few things we think could be improved to make it a true 5/5 experience. As this was our honeymoon, we did feel there could have been a little more from the hotel to make it feel like a honeymoon rather than just a holiday. We had an amazing room, but perhaps a few extra touches or gestures from the hotel would have made the occasion feel even more special and personal. The food was generally good, although there were a few times when it was fairly average. We also noticed that our bed sheets were not changed during the 10 days we stayed, which we felt was a little disappointing and something that could be improved. The evening entertainment was also okay, but we felt this could be improved. Most people seemed to leave fairly early, or ended up just playing games as couples, so we think better entertainment could make the evenings more enjoyable. We also felt the all-inclusive drinks should continue until 1:00am. Having to pay for drinks between 11:00pm and 1:00am seemed a little silly when people have already paid for an all-inclusive experience. We think more people would stay and use the bar if the entertainment was a little better and drinks remained included until 1:00am. One thing to be aware of is that if you want one of the over-water sunbeds, you need to be up at around 7:00am to get one! Overall, though, we absolutely loved our stay. The staff, atmosphere, beautiful hotel, incredible Jungle Suite, rooftop bar, food and drinks all made it a fantastic experience. We would definitely consider coming back and would happily recommend Syntopia
