The Hotel that TUI accommodated us in was far from a tourist hotel to explore the Amalfi coast and Sorrento. The best description I can give is a glorified Alcatraz. The hotel was lovely and the staff very accommodating but that’s where it ends. There was no route to the hotel to anywhere unless you paid for the hotel shuttle bus that run not very often and ended at 10pm which in turn meant you were constantly watching the clock. Each shuttle return would cost 12 Euro for both my wife and myself which ended up costing me around £200 for a week of shuttles. This being on top of the train costs etc for onward journeys. It also stated in the TUI travel guide that regular boats sailed from the hotel pier to the main destination, which was also untrue as not a single boat not even a rubber dinghy docked at the pier the whole week we were there. The hotel was basically a convention centre which people got shipped to and from by coaches as the main road Approximately 3 mile run to the nearest town was like an episode of whacky racers with no complete walking footpath. I have travelled with TUI possibly hundreds of times throughout the years and this one certainly has made me lose all trust in them for the future. If you are planning on a site seeing visit for Sorrento or the surrounding areas please avoid this hotel at all costs and look for an alternative either in an active port or on a direct bus / train route

Too out of the way Drinks and food expensive Mould in bathroom

Fantastic hotel, the only negative which isnt a really a negative its more doen to me. I dont eat seafood and majority of the menu was seafood

Great hotel a bit on the pricey side for drinks
