    Recommended

    Disappointed to find some mold on the wall, mini bar door was off the hinges. The balcony also overlooked an adjacent hotel, which was very noisy. We chose the Insula Alba as its an adults only hotel but the noise of children in the swimming pool at the Senseanna made this irrelevant. In addition, the entrance road to both hotels was close to our balcony and so were awaken by coaches and deliveries either late at night or early morning.

    The hotel and staff were top notch can’t say enough good things about the staff , the buffet food was good but the culinarium food was excellent, entertainment was a bit mid but we knew this before we booked and it’s no fault of the hotel if we wanted nightlife we would have booked Benidorm

    Dirty floor, beach towels still dirty. Hair in food and in drinks from the pool bar, hot drinks were still cold so we had to return them. Pestered as soon as we went to hotel by spa staff asking us to book a massage. Rooms weren’t clean after the maid came in. Poor entertainment

    Not the best TJI Blue we have stayed in . Overpriced one swimming pool shortage of sun beds . Very low key entertainment . Room adequate not towels everyday poor air con. Rep did not advise of housekeeping situation or location of beaches etc . Beach nearby was rocky and shingles with another hotel having free beds . For a 5 star this was rather poor. Food nice . Pool bar staff could not make hot drinks all cold and had to keep returning . Back row of sun beds missed by waitress for drinks . Pool towels some were stained. Blue fit rep Ana very good and great aqua class . No big bottled water was offered at pool bars only helping yourself . For a non alcoholic this would be a good option in the day. Airport was awful no air con filthy and a shambles no seats in any departure gates . Shop had one staff member in. Worst airport visited personally I would not travel back to Crete and may not travel to a TUI Blue unless a friend has recommended . For such a hot country the air con was very poor in airport and hotel .
