    People were putting Towels on sunbeds at 6 o’clock in the morning and reserving 6 beds hotel said you cannot reserve beds no sun beds near pool left nobody in the beds till midday

    The accommodation itself was beautiful however it is in the middle of nowhere. Taxis are expensive so a more regular bus from the hotel perhaps a complimentary one to different villages nearby would be massively appreciated.. we use the bus to Corfu town once but public transport is unreliable and we spent €80 on taxis alone.

    The area around private pool had broken floor tile that rocked when stood and also raised at corners, very large crack in wall . The air con vent was disgustingly full of mould and started dripping water in the bedroom area. Balcony area was cleaned once in 10 days . Outside table never cleaned. My wife slipped on the shiny tiles when having a shower , eventually shower mat was provided. In our opinion rooms never fully cleaned , just a quick mop around leaving a wet floor ,then when you came in off the dirty balcony you had dirty footprints everywhere. I became ill 4 days into holiday as I was recovering my wife then became ill , both with bad D&V ,reported to rep in hotel. She told me only the English were getting poorly there no other nationality ( really) very hard to believe. The sickness selects one nationality come on that is utter gibberish. The food was constantly cold / lukewarm at best , then a microwave appeared at the end of the week to warm your own food .!!! A total of 5 out of 10 was lost because of the bug due to food poisoning. Once recovered we were to reluctant to eat anything in case it happened again . I have never been on a holiday with you that I felt we couldn’t eat and drink ,it’s part of the holiday . Then the last day the lift broke so we had to haul ourselves up 6 floors for a boiled egg ( because nobody had touched the inside of the egg) it got fixed around 8 that night . We were tired and weak at this stage and walked up 19 flights of stairs that day . At £4500 it was well below par . If it wasn’t so serious it would be funny .
