Tipp

As mentioned. Entertainment was also repetitive. Not as expected for a riu

Hotel is lovely, it’s very clean. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. My Dad is 82 and they all made such a fuss of him. The food was nice, I’ve known more variety at other hotels and 3 out of 7 of us had boughts of diahoreah

Typical all-inclusive entertainment, whenever it’s all inclusive the entertainment is never great because they don’t want to keep you in the Hotel drinking the free booze ! The evening entertainment was pretty poor

Booking process absolutely grand. Hotel spotless, Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Tui rep available but was not required as all good. All in great experience. The only cavieatt I would have is that the entertainment was a bit flat on a few evenings. This is again personal preference though. Can't please everyone! Otherwise great holiday

    “Kan beter, maar was prima”

Overall good experience (rating more like 3.7). We stayed for 10 nights. Here and there, there are points that need improving. Rooms are outdated and have bad air conditioning (not nice when its very hot out). Food for the majority of the trip was ok but towards the end we both had upset stomachs. It is not new that more guests have experienced this. One other thing that we found VERY annoying is that staff gives priority treatment to guests from England. Its like everything is set to their liking. There are other guests staying from other countries. Just because i have a lighter skin colour doesnt mean im from England. The entertainment at night is only enjoyable when drunk, otherwise they need to find new people for the performances. Sober you realize how bad it is and more variation is needed, same songs on rotation (England top 100) all the time. Other tui blue hotels do it much better. So we pretty much just hung out in our room during the nighttime. Reception staff also need a training in hospitality. Given that they are the first impression of the hotel they not need to be so blunt. This lack of hospitality was compensated by the restaurant staff. Always very attentive and nice. Culinarium was also very good and worth it. Our server Abdel was always very nice and we were very happy with the service he provided. Although, there is what seems like competitiveness between waiters concerning guests. The sunbed situation is actually disgusting. Hotel policy says that reserving sunbeds is not allowed before 9am but the reality is that (ofcourse) the England guests get up at 3am to reserve sunbeds. And sometimes leave their towels the whole day and not even show up to the loungebeds (personally we find this act plain stupid). This ofcourse is absolutely abysmal and staff should do something asap about it. Once you have found some remaining sunbeds that are not \"prime\" spots the pools are very nice and enough selection. Spa is also very nice and worth going to for relaxation. But all in all, it was an enjoyable experience given this was our first time in Marrakesh, we will 100% come back but not to this hotel probably unless the points mentioned above are improved.
