    Recommended

    Santa Tomas is a small , and quiet resort and the hotel Victoria is a relaxing place to stay. There is a large buffet at each meal with a fairly good selection of food for fish and meat eaters. The vegetarian choices weren’t as good and weren’t always well marked.

    Bed was like a camp bed made noises every time you moved not a full nights sleep all week staff said all beds the same I disagree been there before

    Paying for filtered tap water is extortion and really, really annoyed me. Sunbeds uncomfortable unless you paid for the premium padded beds, again extortion. Rooftop pool needs hand rails as many old and myself were unsteady getting in and out. All Hotel chairs are also uncomfortable and when getting out of tub chairs the chairs would move backwards, an accident waiting to happen. Food was very poor some days i went without and another days was good, sprouts for breakfast is a new one for me 🤢 and sometimes meat was undercooked, flies in the restaurant could be dealt with a few of the blue light machines that kill them. Coffee was absolutely vile, never tasted anything like it and hopefully won't again. Plus side bread rolls were fresh and butter was good, beef stews were very nice, paella was quite nice but not as good as my husband makes, food quite repetitive and no special nights like curry night, Chinese night or Spanish night. Room wasn't worth the upgrade although the fridge was very good at keeping food and drink cold and room was very clean and cleaner was a delight although bathroom seal in the shower was grubby and needs replacing. Overall poor value for money for what we paid.

    All the staff at the TUI Blue Victoria are superb, special mention for Ramon, Mar, Mohammed and Bea. Also the chefs and staff who replenish the food in the main restaurant.
