The aircondition in the rooms could not cope with the 40+ degree heat and was completely insufficient as well as below standard for a country where high temperatures are the norm in the summer. We actually thought it was completely broken, complained several times, were told it all worked ok, a week into our stay we were so exhausted from not being able to sleep they offered us a different room, it was a modern room but the aircon was just the same so we did not move as it was a smaller room. The phone was broken, the safe was broken, the wardrobe was broken and several drawers were also. I understand that wood warps with heat, but that needs to be adjusted in such a way that doors actually open in the summer too, they all scraped at the tiles and were very difficult to open or close. The resort itself is massive, nicely layed out, we were in block 2 - which is probably a good location as it is close to the restaurant, but not good for the water park or for quiet sleep as the parties were loud and went on to 1am on some days. The \"state of the art gym\" was falsely advertised as a broken bench, some weights, 2 bikes and 1 cross trainer can hardly be called that. No towels or water is provided in the gym/ spa area - that was very dissappointing. The food was greatly influenced by the location, which is totally fine, but having so many guests from mainland Europe, proper pancackes would have gone a long way. The staff in the restaurant were attentive and customer oriented but the mess in the restaurant is something else. The did not employ enough staff to clear the tables or had nobody coordinating but if one was not there when the restaurant opens, it was impossible to get a clean table, cutlery or any cups. Dirty tables stayed dirty until someone wanted to sit down there and I gave up after a few days and just started to clean the table myself. Any broken dishes were ignored or shoved under a bench rather than cleaned up. There was only 1 drinks dispenser with soft drinks (pepsi, sprite etc) in the entire restaurant and water dispensers were only 2 working in the entire place. Coffee machines (if you can call that coffee) were only turned on at breakfast and were always leaking water everywhere, I saw several guests and staff slip and fall because of it but nobody cleaned the spillage up. This is a safety concern. Nesting birds are in the ceiling all over the restaurant and they steal food from plates as well as leave droppings - this is a massive hygene concern. For an all inclusive holiday resort I was very annoyed by the many extras they wanted. The water park has a massive entertainment area with a bar and food place - however all of it had to be paid and was therefore completely empty. We had to go back the half a kilometer in 45 degree heat with little shelter just if we wanted a top up of water or any kind of food. That is not acceptable for a holiday advertised as \"all inclusive\". There was an adult only area with a lovely pool, restaurant and sunbeds - but only to be paid for extra. All the entertainment was exclusively in French, they clearly had some games on in the week of the worldcup final but we could not participate because the announcements were only made in French - for a holiday that is sold to an english speaking market - not acceptable. The entertainment team by the main pool clearly worked their best and got great laughts from the french guests, but we were excluded from that also. The kids club was also seggregated between english and french children with the english ones only there 09.30am to 11.00am and 14.30 to 16.00 and the other group was in a different building accross the courtyard practising dances and a show that my daughter would have loved to participate in but was not allowed/ included because of the language. That had her very upset. Mini disco - this was the biggest let down of the holiday from a kids entertainment point of view. It was meant to be on 20.30 to 21.00 daily in the theater outside - 1 day we discovered it had been moved to the nightclub but it was too late for us to join, one other day it didnt even start until 21.00 - all exclusively in French with no songs any child could associate with. Most kids songs exist in several languages and the melody is all the same, but not here, not even the french kids knew what they were about, choreography was very difficult and the entertainment team didnt know most of the dance moves themselves it was so bad, can they not learn the dances prior to them being employed there? The easest thing to put together a 30 min kids disco with Baby shark, Baci Baci vida vida, Macarena, Follow the leader etc... this was a disgrace. Very poorly organised and them shouting \"enfants enfants\" constantly with nobody understanding them was really awful to watch. TUI representative - there was none, the app did not work, when I asked at reception where I could find the TUI rep they just stared at me. There was none, I was referred to a poster on the wall with an english phone number. We were never given any information about the hotel (how it works) local attractions, do's and donts etc. The TUI guide who picked us up from the airport told us the stops and then the bus stopped and he said \"first stop - my stop, goodbye\" and that was that. We had several TUI holidays before and there always was information, a meeting or package in the hotel with information on emergency numbers, contacts, when the TUI rep would visit - there was absolutely nothing. The hotel confirmed that there was no rep at all. This was by far my worst experience with TUI, and that says a lot because last year our return flight was 9h late and it was still better than this holiday. I was fed up with the staff smiling and walking away clearly not being interested in our complaints, constantly having the towels from the room taken by housekeeping and not replaced, had to ask for 2 days to get a 3rd towel instead of 2 - we were 3 guests in the room, we all want to have a shower in the evening and a dry towel for that. The last time I asked they took all towels and I had to go back to ask to get some. It constantly felt like they were doing us a favour rather than trying to make it a lovely experience. The main pool was always crowded and constantly dirty, loungers reserved from 6am thats why we preferred the water park - it was maintained and empty most days because it was far away from anything and food / drinks needed to be paid for. Slides were fun, but not enough inflatables so there was a long wait and carrying up them several flights of stairs discouraged us from even trying after the one time we went. The splash area is dangerously slippy and should not be used by anyone, my daughter wore crocks and slipped several times, we didnt go back but watched a lot of children fall - that is a safety concern. I would not recommend this resort to any non french speaker, this doesnt deserve the 4 stars it has itself advertised on its website - absolutely not. None of the images are what it looks like in real life, it is dated and images are either from the to be paid for areas or touched up as this is definitely not what it is in real life.

Clean, good pools and activities. Friendly staff, great extra pool adults only with additional charge for beds and drinks but worth it for a special day

The room was spacious, clean and well looked after by the staff. It would have benefitted from stronger air conditioning and a working fridge but was great value for money.
